1100 mah bat, any good

i noticed some 1100 mah battery's on ebay for £5.50 and was thinking of getting one, are these any good and will it be a good upgrade compared to the 650 mah i currently use. also cash is tight so please dont recommend better expensive alternatives i can only get what i can afford.

Be very careful buying Batteries from eBay..very careful, personally i would recommend obtaining them from a normal vendor so you can be assured the unit is as safe as possible. I presume the battery in question is an eGo type and in that respect the 1100mAh capacity is good enough to last the most part of a day (dependent on a few factors not least of which is the tank / coil being used on it) for most folk, but it never hurts to have spares .

It'll last twice as long as then mah is double. It's a bit hit and miss on eBay Ive heard but I got 2 of those a year ago on ebay and they were fine.

Personally i wouldn't risk it as these are bound to be cheap ego copies. Save some cash and buy from a trusted vendor.

Ive tried the ebay ones and promptly binned them when i realised they were being outlasted by my 650s.

yes its a ego replacement battery not that i have an ego but if i can get a better a kick from it than the 650 mah i have then il give a go. i know its risky buying cheap bats on ebay but it will do until i have some bees and honey. thanks for the replys guys.

Nobody loves a bargain more than I, but I've been stung by a cheap ebay ego. There are a lot of wrongly advertised mAh egos out there, and most of them are on ebay, one product (blister pack) market vendors or some geezer with a table on the high street. Many of these have tiny batteries in larger casing & the space filled with chunks of foam. Some are also poorly wired & insulated.
In my experience, the cheapest good standard is on Fasttech. Had loads from them & all excellent performers

You won't get a better kick as such it just means the battery will last longer as Seedy advised but most likely if you were to take it apart you will probably find a 650mah battery inside or even worse some piss poor soldering. There are bargains to be had sure but I would say this is not one of them.
