Hi all,
I know that there's probably lots of reviews and/or threads on 18650 UK Ltd and their batteries but what I wanted to put out a bit of review and also some feedback on their customer service
Let's start at the beginning...... (story time)....... Quite late on the 18th Feb 2018 I ordered 2x Sony VTC5A's for my unregulated mod, along with a couple of plastic dual battery cases for safe storage of my batteries. Ordering on their site was dead easy. Lot's of choice and lots of detailed information on mAh size of the battery I was looking at and also the Amp rating for them etc. Very simple and slick. Just what you need when looking at batteries. Not a busy website with lots of rubbish or ads on it. Just the info you want and the products at great prices
Anyway. I made the order and it stated "Royal Mail 2nd class delivery", so expected it to be here in a few working days. Hopefully before the weekend (4 days later). But to my surprise, it was here on the 20th Jan 2018. Considering I made the order late on the 18th Jan which meant that the order would not be processed until the 19th Jan, receiving them the day after that was a massive surprise..... All good
The only problem I had was when I opened the packet. The wrap on one of the batteries looked like it had been dropped whilst in the plastic safety case that it came in creating a slice in the insulator sleeve. This will have been the RM delivery person I would assume as I know that a battery company would do many QC's before shipping anything out.... I'm very wary of using dropped batteries in unregulated mods so wanted to go back to 18650 UK to see what the recommendation was. The reply was back with me within an hour and a resolution agreed within a further 15mins. Great stuff
I cannot fault the company whatsoever in the quality of their batteries (the other one is perfect) and also their customer service dealings
I really cannot recommend them enough and will certainly be using them going forward for my battery needs
Well done @18650UK
