is this length of time really necessary? I bought a rhubarb and custard concentrate from my local shop this evening and for the apple pie I bought he said 4 weeks at least.
Seems a huge amount of time to wait. I know my pre mixed creamy flavours do get better, but after a week or two, maybe if I left them longer they would be even better?

It wont hurt to try it and see what it tastes like, but 4 weeks is pretty average for a custard juice to hit its sweet spot you'll find people that swear by minimums even greater than 4 weeks. And as for your creams its likely they will be better with age the lighter volatiles like fruit flavours may become slightly muted though, its just a case of testing and finding out what works for you.

All my juice steeps for 2-3 months some even longer.
Good things come to those who wait.

Looks like I'll have to be more patient:(
I do the hot bath treatment, should I be able to expect time off with that?
I guess the flavours I know I like I'll have to make in some large batches so I have something to vape while I'm waiting.
How did you all get over the initial waiting time?

Hot bath could help as long as it's not too hot, imo nothing beats a cool dark space though. To get over the initial wait I have a few recipes that are an overnight steep, but if you don't just mix double the amount and store half to test extended steeping.

I have some strawberry cheesecake that's now approaching a year of and I've noticed no flavour degradation from 1 month to now. But the change from weeks 1-4 and in between we're massive. I start all after about 2 weeks though
