My name is JD Daniels and I'm from the US. My 35 year smoking career ended in October of 2013 with an introduction to the eGo my son had purchased at a local vape shop. To be honest I had the ecigs before and they just didnt cut it. They never stayed charged, an was a mess to refill. Needless to say I went back to smoking. But the new models where different. They were bigger and had variable wattage and there was more flavors to choose from. It had me hooked and I've been off cigs for over 90 days. I'm currently wanting to learn how to make my own e-juice. Can anyone around here point me towards the right direction?

:welcome1:@buckskinner38 to potv :)

My experience is similar to yourself - a few years ago I had a beginners kit which I liked but it was messy (big plastic drip tips where the juice went into) and I had issues with them. I've been off of the cigs for over 3 weeks now and are enjoying my vaping with all of the amazing kit you can purchase now.

There are lots of folk here who make their own juices with lots of great advice. I believe you need 10 posts before the whole forum is opened up to you, but that doesn't take long at all :) There is the New User Questions and Discussions sub-forum found here too where you can ask and find great advice.

Congrats on giving up the stinkies, and :welcome1:

Welcome. Its easy to diy and there are loads of YouTube vids about it. Simply put, its just pg, vg, nicbase and flavouring. Ive been mixing for a few months and people are more than helpful on here so get stuck in and ask questions.

Thank you Seedy, labs and Haxxa1962... (LOL @ the "stinkies" comment) Is that what the kids are calling that, now-a-days?

Great that you tried ecigs again and they worked! If you send me an email address via PM, I will happily send you a guide to mixing, basic, but will give a broad understanding. Welcome to POTV

Sorry paps and HAZZA1962... Didnt mean to butcher you name. Big fingers, little phone app. Let's just chaulk this one up to autocorrect.

Welcome buck don't know much about mixing yet I've not started doing that myself yet But there is a mixology section in everything diy that should help you considerably

Hiya and welcome to the planet. Making your own juice is a doddle and will save you a small fortune in the long term. :)
