Hi All

need some advice from seasoned vapours, so if anyone can advise it would be appreciated.

my question:

i have a stingray x and a and a kayfun lite pro v2, I aim to use this in 18350 mode, could you advise what oh. Resistance I should be using for this setup please?

will be using a 50/50 eliquid as well, would prefer a cooler vape, not to warm.

thank you for looking at my post and hope to see some great suggestions.

thanks one again

Hi jitla not sure ohms safety wise how low you can go on 18350 batteries but if you stick to higher ohms then not only is it safer but the vape will also be cooler... I wouldn't advise lower than 1.2 or 1.5 personally as am not sure enough of battery capacity and safety on 18350's however Chegs and gords1001 and Raguri may be able to give more advice on this

The 18350 cells aren't much use as they hold such little capacity, and even powering a high ohm coil won't run the atty for more than a couple hours.
You can buy Efest 18350 cells that can output 10 amps, which will allow 0.4 ohm coils but you'd only possibly get an hour tops from that device.

As you can probably gather, I don't use 18350 cells.

The kayfun produces good results over 1 ohm so there's no real need to go lower.

Start off with something about 1.4 or 1.5 ohms and see how you go.

Carry 6 x 18350 batteries around.
I get a better vape out of an aspire on an ego mechs are good but not that good above 1.2.
Is there any reason you can't use it in 18650

I personally will not use either 18350 cells or kayfuns......

Neither are capable of giving me a satisfying vape.

However, an 18350 will run a +ohm coil. They will go lower but they sag too much to make it worth while.

I also cannot see the point in carrying a mod and a box full of cells when I can just carry a mod 30mm longer and easily get all day out of it with the correct build/cell choice. As far as I'm concerned 18350 cells are just a waste of time sorry.

I'm using a 1.2 ohm coil which is running fine.
Reason why I chose 18350, as I prefer small form factor.
Thank you all for your advise, much appreciated.

Nothing up with liking it small. I had great success with a KFL in a paps (18350) in nano mode with a quartz tank. Even though it lasted 2-3 hours I was very happy with it, until the tank broke.

I love my 18350's, yeah the capacity is a bit of a PITA but the form factor is ideal for work.
I use a Vanilla/Kayfun combo for work running at 1.4 ohms and two batteries usually see me through a shift so its not too much of a pain to carry an extra 18350

A stingray x in hybrid mode with a kayfun and nano kit is my fav at the moment. This hides in my hand nicely using 18500's. A smaller battery and my hand would be blocking the air hole all the time. I run the kfl's at about 1.5ohms. Always carry backup batteries but rarely need more than one of them through the day.
