Today got the time to treat my mod .

Used grit 1200-2000-5000

Then oiled with jojoba/castor oil

Then used Renaissance Wax to finish it off the Stabwood

Lastly polished the SS with a fine metal polish cloth

The results are incredible : smooth like baby's ass and the Stabwood colour came out nicely

In love with this thing [emoji7]

It’s a lot of work, you’ve done there, a really nice looking setup.
Are you leaving the SS brushed?

I don't ye , I'm divided between leaving it brushed or actually give it a nice polish
Going up to 15000 grit is very long on elbow grease. It also turns it into a fingerprint magnate.
But it can look awesome. I can never decide.
At least on SS, being a hard metal you don’t have to redo it, every week. But t makes up for it, doing it first time.

Let me know if decide to do it and share a pic maybe I might actually give it a go , just not sure how good it would look with the brushed attys
