This review is for a product that has either been purchased by myself or sent to me free of charge by the vendor named below for the purpose of review and the opinion expressed here is my own and not necessarily that of Planet Of The Vapes.

Airflow Controller.
My sometimes lovely wife bought me a VTR for Christmas and whilst I loved it (the VTR that is, not the wife), it was slightly too airy for me. It was all to do with the little knurled ring at the bottom letting air in, where your tank screws in and as it’s not adjustable I slowly fell out of love with the device. Now I am being picky here but as I mainly use Kayfuns and can adjust the draw to exactly how I like it, this VTR was a problem to me. That coupled with the iclear 30s, that again I believe has a slightly more airy draw than the original iclear 30 was enough for the thing to gather dust.
Not one to be defeated however, I popped into Vape Escape whilst I was working in Manchester and bought one of their Airflow Controllers, not the one they sell for the Kangers but the one currently priced at just £2.99. I’ve used mine on the VTR to reduce the airflow but you can of course use it on any device or tank that has a standard 510 fitting.
As you see on the photo, it slots in between the knurled connector of the VTR and the iclear (or whatever tank you’re using). It does increase the length slightly but in the VTR this wasn’t a problem. You simply screw the Controller into the 510 connector and unscrew the top half of it slightly to block off the airway as much or as little as you want and then attach your tank as normal.
Finally, it’ll protect the 510 thread on the VTR and if you do get a small leak it’ll be in the Controller and not in the VTR, which as you can’t take the VTR apart with ease to clean it, is a big plus. It’s also a solid build so will no doubt last and whilst it looks stainless steel I’m not so sure, maybe silver coated brass but this small, cheap and useful gadget has tightened the draw up perfectly and I am glad to say that I am once more in love with my VTR.
All the best and thanks for reading,
