Ok Folks ....... Am I asking for too much?

What I want is big clods/plenty of vapour but I don't like mess, fiddling around & I am not really too techie. At the minute I use a CE4 on a Kamry basically because it's easy & mess free.

What easy maintenance but effective alternatives can anyone suggest? I get the feeling that CE4's are not the best.

I'm fairly new to vaping and just bought a mvp v2 from myevape. Looooads of vape and easy to use

As far as I can see anything really effective needs either a mechanical engineering degree, a wad of cash or about 2 hours a day to maintain. Or is there an affordable, easy to use/maintain alternative to my basic setup?

You may not get big clouds from a CE4 and the content of your VG is what will achieve this. What juices are you using?

You need basic common sense and a want to discover... And furthermore NOT smoke.

Vaping is diverse. It's as easy or as complicated as you'd like!!

Buy a protank 1,2 or 3, or similar, use it as it's meant to be used, by simply filling it with juice and vaping the blooming thing instead of wasting time youtube/googling for unnecessary quick fixes that, 9 times out of ten, only describe 'how' instead of telling you 'why'. They are terrific cloud blowers, and flavour is up there with the best, out beaten only by the rebuildable genesis/kayfun/taifun tribe of tanky things. :P :P :P
Truth be told the current range of bottom coil tanks are all trouble free, unless you are using them like an arse, or have been unfortunate enough to have purchased a duff one.

disclaimer - All of the above are my opinions only and your experiences may differ etc etc etc blah blah blah :P :P

Absolutely.

Buy the 7 pack EVOD mods on fast tech website for under £10, get them in 1 month when they get delivered and just vape through them....

What inevitably happens is that you get pulled in by the intrigue of 'what else is out there'. Trust me when I say I have no skills in 'engineering' lol - you just get interested and move from there. It's a hobbyist pursuit that literally can be geared towards ANYONE. Intelligent, dumb, middle-of-the-road, young (18+) and old.

I'd buy a protank like 'cheersm8' said, and supplement with EVOD from Fast Tech. Easy, cheap and they'll all-in-all last you for ages.

I started with a CE4, ended up with lots of mods and tanks. Started with 0 knowledge, no 'tools' and no experience. I have another friend who has been vaping for the same amount of time who still uses CE4's and an ego battery; nuts to me, but he's happy - and THAT'S what matters.

I don't know where you get those ideas. Most vapers are just ex smokers & the gear we use is what we have discovered as part of our journey. Everyone has their own preferences.
If you don't fancy getting involved in rebuildable atomizers & want to go with ready to use clearomizers etc, one which is being heralded as a winner at the mo' is the naturevape pro clearomizer. As for kanger tanks, negotiable, questionable. Some people get on well with them, others don't. Whatever you decide to go with, there will always be a certain amount of maintenance, it won't vape itself like ! Have fun.

I totally agree with this too - the Kanger tanks are a good staple however; some people don't get on with them though. They can leak a bit, and bottom-coil devices aren't for everyone.

For me, I started off with Grimm Green - and he'll always be my fave...

He has a good number of beginner videos. Easy peasy :-)

It's a very difficult question really. Kanger tanks are popular, and I get on great with them, but some people aren't so keen. Of those I have (Evods, Protanks 1, 2 & 3 and Protank mini 1 & 2), the PT mini 2 has been my favourite for vapour & flavour. Then there's the iclear X.1, which is pretty good.

If you like a warmer vape and the CE4 look, but want better performance, the iclear 16 is a really good quality clearo that looks just like the CE4, but has a dual top coil (personally, top coils aren't a favourite with me, but it is an excellent clearo).

Evods and iclear 16's are very cheap, and there are some great deals on the protank minis (Myepack are amongst the cheapest of the UK stores at the moment, FastTech are greater for REALLY cheap if you don't mind a long wait)

Don't rule out the recoiling and the RBAs/RDAs in the future - I'm no engineer - I had no clue about any of that when I started, and I'm recoiling drippers and protanks with the best of 'em now
