Ampking 3000mAh battery

Have got a new battery for mech pulse 24
I have charged twice in my xtar vc2 charger
I have noticed it’s not lasting very long and is hot to the touch
Can anyone advise please
Gone back to using my 18650 at the moment

Not heard of that battery, I'd stick with the tried and tested ones samsung Sony or lg

they are ... Mooch has tested a number of them and they are decent.

which cell is it? the 20700?

I have the Ampking 20700's in a Wismec RX 2 and they have been no trouble at all. Wismec supplied them with the Mod. I've seen Innokin give two away with their Oceanus kits too, cant imagine them choosing junk to go with their gear.
Its possible to get a dodgy anything, but theyre not a no namer.

@Tazz is right, the innokin oceanus comes with 2 20700 ampking batteries, ive got it and ive had no issues with them

I have a set and I have never had any issue with them. I haven’t noticed any difference between them and my Samsung and Sony batteries.

Define “not running very long“ and “hot to the touch”, you could be shorting.

What atomiser are you using? What’s the resistance? Pop up a picture of the base of it.

Hello people
The guy in the vape shop put alien coils in for me and set it up
I am not sure but I think he said 3mm coils, forgive me I am a newbie on this
Only thing I have found is the switch on the pulse, the screw was loose I have tightened it
I probably chain vape a little
The battery is hot but not red hot
