Hi all , just a quick question I have a TC mod in its way and I'm going to use it with a Uwell crown and ti200 coil . Do i need to lock in the resistance of the coil , if so does this mean installing the coil then locking the resistance at 0.125 as that is what it says on the coil ?also what temperature should I set this coil at ? As you will all be able to tell this is my first venture into the world of TC vaping so laymens terms would be appreciated .p.s my new device is the joyetech cuboid......Thanks in advance.

You need to lock in the resistance while the coil is cold, it may or not be an exact match for what's written on the coil - but it will be close. The basic procedure is to fit the coil, prime it then put the atty on the device - at this point you need to lock the resistance before you fire the coil. Once you've got the resistance locked in set the temperature to about 380 or so and give it a try, if it's to cold turn the temperature up slowly until you find a point that suits you...

Thanks Tubby ,Just to clarify, once locked in I then control the taste and clouds by altering the temperature not the wattage :flames:

I believe you don't need to lock, but if you must, wait for the coil to rest at room temperature first before locking it.

Dude you need to lock the coil on the cuboid at room temp
*hugs cuboid* :)

You need to calibrate at room temp, but all the lock does is bypass the new coil/same coil prompt when you screw in something else.

Once calibrated, it won't recalibrate until you screw in something else and select new coil when prompted. It is not necessary to lock on the cuboid.

At least that is my understanding... I could be wrong.
