Need a little help with that one.

One size does not fit all.

the most common basic starter kit setup is en eGo battery with a CE4 clearomiser. This is the bottom of the pile though. The CE4 clearos are basic and if you get bad ones they might not work all that well for you. There are hundreds of makes of them out there and lots of places are climbing over themselves to sell them for as cheap as possible. Which usually means they bought them as cheap as possible and the company that made them cut a lot of corners.

Reputable makes of eGo are Janty, JoyeTech, Vision, SmokTech or AnyVape - if it's not got one of those names on it avoid.

Next up is the EVOD. you can get clearomiers called evods which are really good and made by a company called Kanger. they also make a battery that goes with the Evod that functions like the eGo battery and is also reasonably good quality.

Both standard eGo batteries and also Evod batteries are fixed voltage. they supplier power the the atomiser at 3.7volts. If you pair them with a 1.8ohm coil then it's all good.

I'd recommend though that you get something that's variable voltage. With VV you can change the power that goes into your coil to adjust it for taste, and then it does't matter so much what resistance atomiser heads you use, you just turn the power up or down till it tastes good for you.

Variable voltage eGos are avaialable that have a twsity dial on the bottom of the battery. If you're buying a basic starter kit comprised of eGo batteries you want 2 batteries (one to charge and one to use) a charge cable, a wall plug adapter (you should only charge eGo batteries plugged into the mains) some atomisers/clearomisers and some e-liquid.

A VV kit with all of that will set you back in the region of £40 depending on the mah rating of the batteries (650mah runs out quicker than 900mah but the batteries are shorter)

If you're going to spend around £40 then lots of other mods come into play for similar monies. If you don't mind a square shaped battery then the MVP is really good value at also around £40. The itaste VV is also a good buy you can use both the VV and the MVP as passthroughs (meaning you can charge and vape them at the same time) the VV is an 800mah battery the MVP is a whopping 2600mah.

For a little more again you can get an SVD or a SID or a ZMax or a Vamo - I'd recommend a kit that includes IMR batteries and a decent quality charger. XTar or NiteCore are both decent.

As far as clearomiers go right now the best clearos on the market are Aspire clearomisers. At the budget end the CE5 style are he best ones (though they look like CE4/5s they are completely different inside) with the Davide Aspire tank being the best of the bigger tanks around if you prefer a larger one.

ProTank 2 and ProTank 2 minis are also a really good choice. If you're on a tight budget then Evod clearomisers are also decent.

Well I'm looking informationaly to get of the coffin nails I smoke menthal rollies bought one of the look alikes from a super market but the smell and taste is foul but in time would possibly like to adventure into the world of different flavours but at the moment money is tight

Once you've bought some kit it should last at least 6 months and the running costs are very cheap, even if you buy replacement heads rather than recoil them and only buy premade juice it'll cost maybe £1.50 a day.

You can reduce that quite a bit by buying cheaper e-liquid in bulk, or even mixing your own and by buying wick and wire and recoiling heads yourself.

I'd get a VV eGo setup or an EVOD battery kit if you're looking to get the most out of a smaller budget. Provided you stick with 1.8ohm heads the fixed voltage batteries are good, though you'll outgrow them faster than the variable voltage ones.

There's plenty of decent cheaper menthol e-liquids out there.

i am new to all this too and after lots of reading i have gone for this http://myepack.co.uk/mods/vamo-v5-full-kit-chrome.html and added V Core Vivi Nova 3.5ml tank and a pair of Samsung IMR INR18650 to be getting on with, i have been off the cigs since july on 18mg nic and menthol and its working for me Good Luck

I hear more questions coming.
Answer to question one is. As your new to all this, once your vamo v5 has arrived, and you have set it up etc. Leave the voltage setting alone, use the power setting only. This setting will automatically change the voltage for you. Start it off at 6 watts and have a vape. If that's to low, up the power a bit and vape again. Keep doing this until you get a nice vape and taste. Most people find that 8watts is about right.

Thanks for that you are so spot on with the questions comming lol yes i am like a kid before christmas just waiting for it to turn up
