Apple plug

Hi all I use my iPhone plug to charge my e-go battery. Can anyone think of any issues this may cause. Is it worth shelling out on an e-go plug?

Can you not charge it on your laptop/pc usb port,think thats how it is supposed to be done.

A friend of mine uses her apple plug to charge ego with no problems.

I've only got an iPad ( oh woe is me) so no USB charging slot!

I charge 90% of compatible gadgets through my apple plug, they're practically all the same just companies pay extra to have their name on them.
How's this for being charged up though

He's using the HTC plug.

All USB plugs are regulated 5V out some might have a higher amperage but the circuitry in the ego chargers should componsate for that.

Id just like to point out that improper charging practices are the leading cause for Ego batteries going unstable and venting, overheating and catching fire.

It is far safer to use a USB to 3 pin plug adapter (with a fuse) than to charge via a USB port.

I don't think this is a good idea, because iPads and iPhones have different plugs even though they look the same.

i use my ipod charger for any usb device, including my e-cig. It's working fine for me... I seem to keep losing loaders in general and the apple one is the only left in my house
