Are my coils knackered??

My Atlantis 2 arrived today. I primed both coils (dripped juice on mesh till soaked in and a few drips on the holes).

assembled the tank, filled it with juice, left it to stand 5 mins, but when I vape it doesnt taste very nice at all?

Both coils have done this, started vaping at 20w up to 25 then up to 30 wishing I went with the Kanger subtank now

Happens to me and if I use my subtank it's the same so I switch out my liquid for a while.

Unusual to get 2-3 diff coils in a row.

Aspire are pretty good but maybe machine oil? Even a tiny bit left over from the manufacturing process will taste horrible. Try taking it all apart and giving it a really good clean with lots of really hot water with washing-up liquid and a really good hot rinse. Can probably reuse the coils as it's unlikely they are contaminated.

Assume the juice is trusted.

Thanks for replies cleaned both coils and still the same, horrible burnt taste!

Ive had the coils out a couple of times, the juice in the coils is black, coils have black bits on them.

I make my own juice with only pharmacy grade VG, trusted PG based nicotine, and trusted flavour concentrate so I know its not the juice. 80/20 VG/PG.

If the e-juice meet heat and turn black,we suggest you to change another e-juice,and please don't use this e-juice forever.

general condition,when the e-juice meet heat,it should be atomized into vapor,if the e-juice turn black,which means there is some content inside the e-juice can not be atomized and can not meet heat.

What's more,I want to know how did you clean the coil?

Probably not leaving the coil long enough to soak I leave both my Atlantis and Atlantis 2 at least 30 minutes after priming before having a toot and it works a treat [emoji3]

I think fake coils.

I bought another coil from a trusted local shop primed as I did the other 2 and this coil is performing excellent
