The Minikin Kodama & Kodama Hybrid Edition 150W are high powered dual 18650 box mods that have each been painstakingly crafted from high quality stabilised maple wood.
Each Kodama has a totally unique appearance that is dependent on the grain of the wood block and the colour of the stabilising acrylic used. Stabilised wood is much more durable and less prone to warping or cracking than natural, untreated wood. The Hybrid edition has a higher blend of acrylic mixed into the voids of the mod’s body to give them an amazingly unique and vibrant colouration due to their “hybrid” style construction.
The stabilised wood design is fused with a mix of Brushed and lined 304 stainless steel found covering the bottom, the top, and the front of the mod. The firm adjustment buttons give a responsive click and the asMODus wheel engraved onto the firing button is a nice touch. All of our Kodama Editions are fitted with the reworked and newly implemented pressurised battery door (as shown on the base of the product photo), the very first of its kind in a dual battery stabilised wood mod. The gold plated 510 pin provides excellent conductivity and the micro USB port provides charging through the device (although not recommended in any dual 18650 mod).
As one of the first stab wood mods to accommodate dual 18650 batteries, the Minikin Kodama Edition is powered by the “GX150V1.5” chipset and offers the same functionality as their famous Minikin 150W mod. The clear OLED screen displays the individual charge of each battery being used in the mod to ensure the batteries are evenly balanced allowing them to be swapped out if required. The Kodama includes the same hyper power saving capability that was critically acclaimed in the original Minikin and is designed to extend the battery life of standard 30A 18650 batteries.
The Kodama also allows the user to manually adjust the resistance that is read from the atomizers with ease and the TCR and TFR options further enhance its performance. TCR mode enables you to manually adjust the resistance that is read with your chosen coil or build for your desired performance. TFR permits the user to safely use hybrid builds that have a mix of wire types that can be adjusted based on user preference. Both TCR and TFR functions have 5 memory storage modes each to quickly switch between different settings with a few clicks through the menu.
