Aspire pocket X battery flashing ??

Hi there I've recently bought a new aspire pocket X and when charging it's flashing red and green and not holding battery at all. I've looked into it haven't found nothing what the problem can be.
Can anybody give me some insight to this problem .

hi and welcome to the planet.
not used this kit but there are a lot that use them and not heard of this problem before.
could just be a faulty battery.
how old is it and where did you buy it from.
i would contact the supplier and see if they will swap it as long as its not months old.

Hey,
I've had a few of these and still have a couple lol - never had that issue whilst charging. Look like something's gone wrong. Get in touch with the seller for a replacement

Edit: could be liquid gotten into the battery/charging port - vacuum out the port
