Hi all
Fairly new to vaping. Ive got a couple of Aspire tigon tanks and today got a nautilus xs tank.
The reason for a couple of tigon tanks, is that on one of them when the airflow is closed there is still a lot of air being pulled though. I ordered a new tank and it doesn’t have this problem.
I today got a nautilus xs tank and despite the differences in design it appears to have the same issue.
I vape MTL and the nautilus xs tank is still very airy even when the air is fully closed.
If i put fingers over one side of the closed air vent it’s noticeably tighter, but when i do the same on the other side its much looser draw.

Is this usual for aspire? Or have i just got unlucky with a couple of poor quality controlled items?

Thanks for nay help or suggestions

does it have an o ring on the airflow ring? if so changing it for a new one might help.

yeah I'm thinking o-rings...

as for Aspire, they are no worse than anyone else and a lot better quality than some.

The XS is an update of the nautilus X too, those 'U-Tech' coils are a lot more airy than the regular nautilus coils in my experience.

Which coils do you have in them? I’m almost sure both tanks come with two different coils :hmm: (One will be airier than the other).

the tigon has the 1.2ohm and the nautilus xs 1.8ohm.
At the moment the nautilus xs air is closed and it’s still airy!

airflow rings aren’t really great at working all that well. they will rarely be capable of completely stopping air getting in. this is just a fact of how they work. air will always leak in around the edges.
