Tonight i will be reviewing the Aspire zelos kit i had the pleasure of winning on this very forum.
So me and 2 other lucky apes won a kit each from Aspire a few weeks ago now and mine arrived on wednesday afternoon unexpectantly as the tracking said it was still over in china.
Was very excited to get my hands on one of these since i heard of its release.
I have used all the previous nautilus tanks and i still use my original and mini nautilus daily.
I was also very excited when i heard about the nautilus X being released but was very disapointed with it.
Not that it was a bad tank its just alot different to the nautilus that i grew to love when i started vaping.
So back to the Zelos kit.. first impressions on the mod very light yet a solid looking unit and has a nice easy screen to read.. and a very simple uncluttered display.
On the screen you have a battery indicator, your ohms, volts and watts.
The buttons also seem solid and well made.
I recieved the adonised red version and love the colour.
Now on to the tank... when i first seen the pictures that circulated on the forum i thought wow thats one ugly tank but now that i have seen it in the flesh my opinion has changed its not as bad as i thought and suits the mod perfectly it has a nice cut out so you can see your juice level yet protects the glass underneath.. so you have to unscrew the metal cap to fill the tank and the way its designed it makes it virtually leakproof. The threading is good on the cap and screws on and off flawlessly.
My only gripe is that once or twice when i have unscrewed the cap to fill the coil has come apart attached to the top tank part but may of been down to the cold weather as i have noticed it only happened when i was out and about.
The airflow is what i am most impressed with it has 5 different airholes and as you turn the airflow u can close them down to which suits you personally i have been using it with 2 open and find it very similar to the biggest airflow on the nautilus mini. With the airflow fully open i find it to be like the airflow on the nautilus X fully open.
I have been using the 1.8 bvc coil as i will be using this as my mtl set up and theres not much to say as it uses the bvc coils that the original version uses and i have always found them to be good.
I will be changing the coil tomorow to give the 0.7 a bash and to see how it performs so will add my thoughts on that once ive had a proper go on it.
Hopefully the other guys will add there thoughts also amd thanks for taking your time to read this review.
Thanks Mick [emoji2]
