its back to slimming world. I've been a little piggy! wonder what the damage is! I think half a stone.

I guess it's like la lot of things - at least if you keep fighting you're in with a chance of winning.

In 5 years ive put on 4 stone, gone up 2 jean sizes. went up when I stopped work ( i`ll health ) then went up when I quit ciggs and started vaping. Ive never been a big eater or drinker. No good me going to Slimming world I would put on more weight.

Sorry to hear that. I'm not able to offer advice, but I hope you can get where you want to be.

I would normally wish people good luck on posts like this but I don't need to @lene you know you can do it and it will be a breeze [emoji6]

it wasn't so bad 4 and a half pounds on. I was thinking it would be more!

I have gone from 80-100 miles of cycling a week, to sitting in a chair and a bed, probably about 22hrs a day. I had a major crash last Sunday. Came off at the bottom of a hill at 40mph and did a lot of superficial damage (nothing broken) but maybe laid up for up to six weeks. Getting quite worried about how I will cope with the lack of physical activity and the desire to eat a lot due to boredom and being a little bit fed up (depressed)

Its been 9 days now and I wasn't at a very good weight back then and I think I may have put on 3 or 4 pounds already. Worried that, when I can finally get back on a bike, I might be a lot heavier than the last time.

I dont think 6 weeks or even 6 months will make a difference And get better soon

If you run twice round the block every night you will lose that in no time at all Plus do one for me.

I used to cycle around that too each week. When I stopped I didn’t pile weight on like I thought I would. My fitness and sense of well-being were the biggest losers. Rest up properly and whe. You can walk properly go for a few long strolls. It will also be important to do some rudimentary yoga or some good stretching exercises before you start riding again as you’ll be stiff as hell.

Hope you heal soon. (I really must start riding again)
