Bad service from Phoenix

So i bought the Aspire Pegasus mod from a Phoenix store.
Seemed to work OK until i discovered that it wouldn't fire more than 3.6 volts on an Efest 3000mah 18650 battery, well charged. I tried a different fully charged brand new efest 3000mah battery with the same result, still wouldn't work properly. The battery indicator would vary its charge level massively and flash empty when trying to fire a .5 Isub coil at 45w (clapton), even if the battery is fully charged.
So i took it back to Phoenix a week later with receipt. The employee there blamed it on the battery, so he tried one of his. Same result. Then he said it is designed to not fire over 3.6v. Then why is it a 70w mod if it cant fire a .5 coil anywhere close to 70w, with a battery which is 4.1-4.2v when fully charged?
Eventually he accepted an exchange and i went with a Sigeli mod instead which works fine. As he did the exchange he told me how he will box the Pegasus up and sell it to, and i quote: 'A noob who doesn't know much about vaping'.
Last time i deal with them, i only ever go there for convenience as i'm limited for choice at high street stores but this was just awful.
Sorry if its the wrong sub forum to rant.

There's 3 different types of efest 3000 mah going around... One lot are genuine LG hg2s the other 2 are unidentified cells tested at 10amp apparently ...saw it on another group. Guy called mooch has a testing page on fb
