There's 3 different types of efest 3000 mah going around... One lot are genuine LG hg2s the other 2 are unidentified cells tested at 10amp apparently ...saw it on another group. Guy called mooch has a testing page on fb

Ah I do recall something about 10A eFests being mislabelled yet again...

Wasn't aware they had 3 "3000mAh" cells out, cheers. Fuck eFest for batteries anyway

funny you say, that ive been looking at one of there chargers but somewhere in the back of my mind says 'if you cant trust the batteries why trust the charger'

I've personally not had too many issues with Efest cells, ive had a 2500 mah battery for 6 months and still works just fine, yea they're cheap but they work alright. Maybe its a defect with the mod but regardless, it wasnt handled well.
Hopefully this 'noob' will be clued up enough to realize he was sold a second hand product

Yup. It's scary lol.
I did msg @Tubbyengineer as I had some for Xmas and he mentioned the dark purple wraps also being ok to use.

Man they should just be stopped

Kind of racist in a sense, we are all the same battery underneath so why does it matter if its purple, blue, pink etc
