I have 2 pairs of Samsung 30Q batteries that have been giving me grief from day one...i always though it could have been my charger but having changed chargers a while back it seems its the batteries.

I fully charge both sets and withing a few days of leaving them in their cases all 4 batteries have discharged at different rates.

Is there anything thing I can do other than binning them (responsibly).

Fogstar but were bought back at the beginning of 2019 so far too late to complain but have only tried to use and charge them around 6 times

They've been charging for 30 mins, they were full from a charge just over a week ago and this is their current state. Slots 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 have been kept together but have got different discharge rates

@kersey slot 3 & 4 look ok. It is normal for batteries to loose some charge over time, but other 2 do not look so good. My suggestion would be either to try with other charger preferably better one with more options or to discharge them completely then charge in the same Vc4 and see what charge those are able to receive. I used simple 18650 battery light torch to empty them. Yeah, it takes a long time. Recently I made battery tester for this purpose from electronic components and its a very useful tool.
Anyway, if the battery is suspicious I would send it to a recycle center.

@Giurra, thanks mate, they are all finally fully charged. I'll try discharging them fully as suggested and then charge again and see how it goes.

Not really a big deal if I have to dispose of them as have another 8 sets of perfectly fine 18650's
