Battery question

My Vamo 5 arrived with two 18350 batts, (DKL company, China).
just wanted to check what's the preferable useage. Both together or just one with tube reduced. Seem to remember stumbling upon a reply mentioning that stacking 18350's with CE4s on adjustable wattage would burn them out. (The clearomisers I think, not the batts)
My paranoia should diminish once I reach 100 posts hopefully.

I believe stacking in the vamo should be alright. I did it when mine turned up with 2x350s

I think (but not absolutely sure) you double the volts when stacking the batteries, ie one battery puts out 3.7 volts and stacking them equals a minimum of 6 volts, so that would be too much power for a CE4, however with the variable voltage/wattage with the vamo you can obviously limit the volts going through, personally I'd only use one battery at a time and have a second charged battery for when the one being used needs charging :-)

Ok, I'm new to all this. Have been vaping using adjustable wattage. If I switch to Volts when I'm stacking, what sort of figure should I be dialling in, assuming I am using CE4's.

To be fair when I'm using a vv/vw device I tend to stick to variable wattage, variable voltage is too much fiddling when you change atomisers etc, I'm not sure what would happen when using variable wattage and stacking batteries?

But most atomisers tend to be best between 3.7 and 4.2 volts, but then it'll vary as to what the resistance the atomiser coil is, thickness of juice etc, best advice would be to start at about 3.7 and step up until you find the voltage you like :-)
