I have started with an eGo setup with 2 batteries. Think they are 600Mah! And have recently bought a Vision Spinner.
Do these batteries have a life span??
From reading peeps seem to be going out day to day with a couple of laptop batteries plus with them just in case!! Am I a light vaperer or is my kit new so lasts longer??? I'm a tad confused!!

It really depends on how often you reach for it & use it. The mah rating (milliamp hours) dictates how many hour of use it can sustain under a certain usage. In simple terms though, if you take a fully charged 600 mah battery with a clearomizer & go to work in the morning, only vape on tea breaks & lunch, it should have plenty of power left in it for your evening still. If you vape every 20 minutes it might need charging when you get home from work. The ego batteries (If they are good ones) will tell you when they need a charge normally by flashing say 15 times.
If you think you will run out of power befor you get home, take a spare, switched off, battery with you.
They last for months on end if you look after them. Don't leave them charging over night or while you go out shopping etc.. Charge them in a place where you can keep half an eye on them.

Ohh, nearly forgot, the batteries probably prefer being given a full charge from when they indicate it rather than little charges here & there. A good quality mains wall charger is best, not a cheapy. Supermarkets sell good usb wall chargers. Be sure it rated like this on the charger...'output DC 5v - 500ma'. That's the normal ego standard. Any doubts though, check the battery specs in the instruction paperwork & match the charger to those specs.

As above, you get what you pay for so if your a heavy vapor then get spares or a bigger mah battery. When I was using egos I had a ego vv which had pass through so I could vape as it was charging. It worth having a back up to vape as the other charges.

As for the life span of the battery, rather than vape time from any particular size. All rechargeable batteries degrade over time. The constant discharging and recharging, slowly wears the down, in the same way as the ones in your phone or laptop.
I don't know how many times you can recharge an e-cig battery before it is spent. But the average lifespan of a phone battery is 400 - 500 recharges.
So if you use that as a bench mark, you should get at least a year, of daily recharging, before it dies. Note that during this time the amount of useable power, will diminish with time.
This assumes, that the battery is of reasonable quality, as some are, say we say, of dubious quality, and may only last a few months.

Agree with everything on here except the charging thing, these batteries don't like being flat don't wait till they are dead to charge, they actually prefer being topped up regular rather than full charge from dead

As Anthonyb said.
These rechargeables have a life span of between 300 to 500 charges, so if you charge every day then you are looking at over a year before replacing.
That's if it doesn't fall to bits or you trade up to something shiney first, lol.

What, ego's, evods etc.. ? Miy evods specifically state that the led will flash 15 times & that's when to charge it. Written in the instruction book fron Kanga. I don't really use 'em now but for some weird reason i like just having them ! Like hamsters or gerbils !

With most ego type battery's it's about 250 recharges before they start to age but if it's a good quality one you may get 300+ but as long as you charge then correctly they should last the year

Depending on the quality of the cell, after about 300 cycles it will have lost about 30% of its maximum capacity. One this point has been reached it starts to degrade more quickly.

I've got ego batteries that get charged every day for the past 10 month and are still working fine.650mah &1100mah ego-t.
