Battery safety?

Can someone help me out! I've been looking a lot into battery safety but I'm slightly stuck! I know about constant currents and peaks etc. Whats safe in a mech what isn't but I need to learn the different battery's I.E. What different battery's are good for what. Is there a chart I can look at, i've found some in the past but they just didn't make to much sense to me! I've been vaping for a year and 3 months nearly but I could never get my head around batteries as there are so many!
If anyone could lend me a hand I would much appreciate it!

Hey @Gingee, What do you mean by different batteries - as in different chemistry types? IMR INR NCR etc
