Batterys mech mod.

Could anybody recommend a good 18650 battery for a Mech Mod - I have done some research and found that protected are a necessity but does anybody have any specific models?

Do you need vape safety fuse also or do you not need that?

Efest unprecedented. (Safer chemistry).

I use unprotected batteries in my mech's with and without a kick and no safety fuse

efest is probably the best beat but check the size of the protected batteries and your mod might not be long enough and threads may show

maybe 18500's would be better if your intending to use a fuse or kick module or protected batteries

efest, torchys, or AW IMR's or the panasonics if you need big amps ( acyually it may be samsung INR)

big amps are a good requirement if you want to do sub ohm micro coils

Thanks for the ideas - I don't think I will need big amps as I will only be running a tank not RBA's - I just like the look of mechs and don't really bother with the voltage on my mod at the moment.

I don't use fuses either.

As long as it is high drain IMR, it is good to go (depending on brand), and efest beat aw on price, for your requirements, I reckon.

ah yep to confirm panasonic gh18650ch , Efest IMR, AW IMR, Samsung INR , MNKE or torchy's .

yeah unless your going sub-ohm, efest 2000 mAH or lower is the way forward.
