Before couldn't stop coughing, now CAN'T cough at all!!!!!

When on the fags coughing and spitting up 24/7; Now on the vaping 4 months feels as though I cannot cough at all, a bit weird. Very occasionally but hardly at all feel the urge to cough a slight irritation in chest or throat but almost seems as though it is not possible to cough? As though lungs are too dried out to produce the action of a cough? Anybody get this?

The OH experienced dry tickly cough until I moved him onto VG no PG e-liquid thats gone now too...

You are also at the stage in healing from smoking that your cilia is growing back in your lungs, up your intake of water and take a multi if you arent all ready. That could be the reason for the dry tickly feeling

i did get something like that but it was just that i was so used to having a slight cough when i smoked that i (and this mite sound weird) missed it when i stopped..

Oh yes, I had the dry cough. Mine felt like I had a tiny piece of fluff stuck in my throat/ lungs. It wasn't a proper cough, it was totally dry. Thankfully it didn't last long. About a week?
