Beginner Juice mixing need help

Hi, Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this post but i'm looking at making my own eliquid but am a little overwhelmed and looking for some advice off people who know what there doing.

i like a 50/50 mix at 3mg nicotine and like the red astaire concentrate

i have gone to order these -

Any help is great and can you explain as simple as possible as i don't really know where to start and don't fancy killing myself with nicotine poisioning

Hi @Shaun98 and welcome to the planet.

could i ask you to remove the link to the nicotine as it cant be talked openly on a public forum as it is now illegal to buy under tpd law unless you have a trade account.

that is really expensive from ebay and i wish you had asked here first.
i have only just started mixing myself and i bought 1 litre of vg for £4.20 from lucemill.

i would sugest getting a cheap set of scales from ebay. mine were £7 and its much easier doing it by weight after youve added all the concentrates to steam engine.

i also bought 5 pipets and various syringes but not needed them.

give us an idea of the concentrates you want to use and the ratio of juice you want to end up with and someone can work it out for you.
DOH! see youve already added that.

is the red astair just one flavour or is there more.

i was pulling my hair out about 3 weeks ago and im upto around 30 mixes done already.

once you add the % of concentrate to the bottom left it will change the % on the right.
if you had scales you put empty bottle on and then zero it. then you add 0.43 of nicotine and then ero again and then add the % of concentrate.
one shot concentrates are usually around 15% so just for example ive added 15% to concentrate on left and its altered what vg/pg is needed on right.

Thanks for the help will try this tomorrow and as for removing the nicotine link, i can't find an edit button on my post so can't seem to remove it. Any ideas?

Also one question. do i need to use the PG/VG and also add the Nic PG? or do i use one or the other?

Sorry more questions haha. How do i mix with weights? i have just ordered a set? and do i have to set the weight option in steam engine or leave it as volume?

Can't see the image but you would need to add the nicotine and the extra PG to make it up to your desired ratio. Adding enough nicotine PG to get to say 30% on a 70/30 mix would make it far too strong.

If you want to know where to get 72mg nic from send me a pm and I'll tell you. Same for anyone else who's interested.

Here is an example of your recipe using 15% Red Astaire

I would also recommend using Vapable for supplies, you can get PG and VG for £4.99 a litre and Red Astaire £3.95 for 10ml. Postage is free after you have spent a tenner.

Whilst you may find Red Astaire is cheaper from T-Juice - after postage it isn't. Not unless they have a good offer on anyway.
