Hello apes!
Been vaping for 6/7 months now quite happily, know my way around the usual gubbins, but fancy a look at an rda/dripper type thing. Not going mad, but would like advice on a decent basic entry level product. I'm not that keen to start making coils yet, so would like something I can buy replacement coils for if needed.
Thanks in advance :-)

You won't find an RDA dripper that has coils available as this is where the magic is.

They are rebuildables so will have post holes or screw terminals for you to mount your coils.

RDAs are great to learn coil building, as they are easy to build, usually nice size deck and if it's a crap build you can pull it out without wasting a ton of juice.

To start with you probably want to start with single coil so you don't have to worry about making up 2 identical coils.

I would look at the Magma for a good starter dripper.

Orieco Storm-A is a good beginner dripper. It's what I started with :)

It's a good shout but need a bit of warning.

The coils you offered are 0.6ohm, and you then recommended a tugboat which will take 2 coils leaving a final resistance of 0.3ohm.

Word of warning for OP, this is a sub ohm build and will not fire on most regulated devices. You will need a mech or a high power box mod.

Also battery safety is key, make sure your batteries can take a 0.3ohm build especially if using with a mechanical mod.

You will also need an ohm reader to test the build resistance and make sure there aren't any shorts.

Once you turn to the dripping side of vaping, it's hard to turn back round, you have been warned :)

Good point, if you're not able to sub ohm there are a few higher ohm builds you can buy, if you're using a vamo or something similar you won't even be able to fire sub ohm. If you're using a mech make sure your batteries are safe and never let your battery heat up, if it does immediately disemble your device and put the battery to one side till it cools down and rethink your build. An ohm reader is essential when building, again you could get that from fast tech

There is a dripper top cap for the aerotank which would meet your requirement of dripping without rebuilding coils, but I think it kinda loses some of the best points of dripping. One of the greatest features of using an RDA is how easy it is to rewick when changing flavours.

You haven't told us what battery you are going to be using so its tricky to know what size of product to recommend.

In the 22mm options I think the stillare or magma are good contenders, both can be single or dual coiled so they will grow with you as you gain confidence.

In the smaller options there is the octopus mini, or maybe an scar. These are very basic but would give you an introduction to the concept.

Whatever you get you are going to need an ohms reader if your battery doesn't have one built in. This is a vital piece of safety equipment.

My favourite dripper is a Tobh v3, big size meant for a 26650 mod; plenty of room to learn/work in. (The little 22mm drippers which sit nicely on 18650 mechs are more fiddly.)

I've dual coiled mine on MVP2 with 2.5 ohm pre-made "loose" coils (i.e., not the "tight" microcoils) from Fasttech - not going to win any cloudchasing competitions, but hey, it works.

A decent-sized juice well is good; means less topping up when on the go (but more spectacular spillages if/when they leak or fall over!)

Tobh's are dual coil only, but are fairly easy to build. I found the Orieco a bit of a ballache with having to build vertical coils and the centre post arrangement. I would go for a Magma - single or dual coil, dead easy to build, full of flavour, big deep juice well and just a cracking atomiser. If you are going for a clone, Fasttech do a 1:1 which is outstanding. :)

I think you need to explain this ... if you're moving into RTAs or RDAs you really need to be building your own coils ... why aren't you keen?
