Being super thrifty, I'm on the lookout for a hinged tin that will house an 18650 and a couple of switches. I've never made a mod before and can't seem to find a mint tin that is bigger than 650mm. Any help appreciated.

Marks and Spencer do ultra stong mints in tins which are 95mm long, which are ideal. Altoids mints from Waitrose are also highly suitable. Good thing is that either only cost a quid fifty. If you get stuck, I have a load of plain silver tins that I make my mods from - the bastard being the postage will cost more than the tin! :D

Also have a look on Amazon. Loads of time of sweeties on there just begging to be modded! :D

B&Q voucher/gift card tins. A few designs, some with windows in them.

bull brand tins from poundland. They're a little larger than altoids so more room to play with and have some interesting designs!

Nice one. I'll take a look. ;)

Just ordering up the stuff I'll need. Can anyone tell me what sort of wire I will need please?
Would Single Core 1/06mm Overall diameter is 1.2mm, rated at 1.8A, 1kV be OK?
