Big Vapor!!! No Flavor!?!?

I've only been vaping for about two months-I'm switching between a Kanger 2, and a Kanger 3 protank, with an eGo-T 1100 battery. The Protank 3 wont do much of anything vapor or flavor wise (which with two coils is not at all logical), but I suppose that's another question entirely. For now, my Protank 2 is performing admirably in the vapor department, but I just don't taste anything. For awhile it was tasting great, but not anymore. If the coil was used up or bad, wouldn't I get dry hits or a burnt taste-instead of no taste? I'm confused and lost over here, any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, the coil is only about a week and a half old. Thanks.

Not all the time, it depends on how you vape and what kind of e-liquid you are vaping...which also plays a huge part in how long a coil lasts!

Give it a good clean or replace the coil unit :)

I think it might be a power issue.
Is it a standard ego-t battery, or is it actually an ego-twist vari volt.
If it is a standard ego-t, fixed 3.7 volt output. Then the coils in you tanks have to high an ohm rating. With a fixed 3.7 volts a 1.8-2.2 ohm coil is better suited. Anything higher and it will struggle like mine do.
If you have vari volt, then crank it up.
If you can recoil yourself, aim for 1.6 ohm. If not try getting a 1.8 ohm replacement head. http://myepack.co.uk/accessories/protank-coil-head-1-8-ohm.html.

I have been using a Protank 2 for about 5 months now and the coil will produce vapour for about a month; however, the flavour does start to reduce after about 2 weeks. I usually take out the coil and clean it and it will produce decent flavour for another week or so. I found that for the sake of a couple of pounds it is worth replacing the coils every 2 weeks to keep the good vapour and flavour.

I have just started rebuilding my protank 2 coils so this is another option. Plenty of videos on youtube on how to go about this.

I really appreciate the input, fellas. For now, I ended up purchasing an eGo-Twist variable voltage, and the higher volts with a new 2.2 ohm head seem to be the ticket. I've also heard that sometimes you simply get used to a flavor and need to switch up for a bit to reacquire that taste. So many schools of thought out there...

Are vapers tongue. I normally have 4 or 5 flavours on the go, to switch between. Helps to avoid that most of the time. When it does strike, personally I go onto menthol for a while, that sorts it out.

menthol, huh? bring me back to the Kool Filter King 100 days of my youth! I'm likely still recovering from those sinister little soldiers of death.

Any strong-tasting juice will do it, really. I'm not a fan of the menthol myself. Anything lemony, sharp or strong-tasting should do the trick. Or just give your tongue a scrape or rinse out with mouthwash!

As above, some juices "eat" coils (Hooch I'm look at you!!!) I only use the "sticky sweet" stuff in coils that can be rebuilt easily PT et al.

It sounds like a resistance issue. Also taking the flavour wick out can help but may make it prone to flooding. You're new twist wil cope with most standard resistances and will sort the problem.

Good luck
