Of the above, for a complete novice like myself, which would offer the easiest build?

I’d be looking an airy MTL using pre-made 0.7+ coils (in a Cthulhu) with 50/50.

Price-wise, they’re much the same and they all seem to have a goodly number of fans (& detractors!), so they seem decent RBAs that frequently get “mentioned in dispatches” to start out with.

Thanks in advance.

I have the bishop3 and the insider.

The bishop is both airier and easier to build on, so based on your criteria that would be my recommendation. It is less fiddly to coil (there is more open space on the deck) and has a 510 base so you can plug it straight into a mod or ohm reader (the insider requires an 510 adapter).

Not tried the 520 though.

I would agree that for for your needs the Bishop is probably the one.

I enjoy the Cubed and the Insider, the 520 not so much.

Again, thanks to all for convincing me to go for the Bishop Cubed.
I was able to look at it this morning and my initial impression was “Wow!”
It is one seriously well engineered & quality piece of kit.
Comparing it to the supplied boro’ with my Cthulhu, it’s night & day.
If I have any concerns, it’s with the size of the build deck. I didn’t even look at the CM deck as I am using the coil adaptor so hadn’t realised just how tiny they are!
Best sort out my magnifying glasses lol
(Mind you, I need to get some coils, cotton & tools before I start any building!)

Magnifying glasses can help. But remember, you’ve lost 3D vision. So you gain and you don’t.
I use an old opticians desk magnifier . But I’ve replaced the original tube with a photographic led ring light. I’ve no idea what magnification, it is. But I’d guess 3-4x

on any build, I use it for about 40% of the time. It takes practice to line up coil legs, in 2D.

Same here. They feel like really good quality IMO, compared to most tanks.

If only the bishop had an 0.8 airpin it would be perfect.
