Soooo

I need help.

I am very, very tempted to move away from glass bottles and moving over to ldpe bottles!

This all came about because of four main reasons!

1. Getting hold of the glass bottles in the UK is a nightmare, I ended up having to get them imported at no small cost! And 10 of the bottles were broken on delivery!

2. Postage! The glass bottles I use at the moment have to be shipped as a small parcel! That means more postage for my buyers. If I could get away with large letter postage that's a saving for you.

3. Size options! I can easily offer 15ml, 30ml, 50ml and 100ml sizes because my bottle orders can be a lot lower using ldpe.

4. Dripping! Dripping with the glass whilst out and about is a total pain in the arse and today caused me to drop the top cap of my tugboat :( I find plastic a lot easier then out and about.

So there are the reasons I want to, however...

Glass looks sooooo sexy and really fits my branding well!

HELP ME!!!!

Bottom line, its about the juice. If using something other than glass gives you a more marketable product by offering different sizes, allows you to keep postage down for your customers, reduces breakages then just do it.

+1 for switching to plastic, just so much easier for virtually every situation. I have ended up decanting into plastic so many times and am always stood there wondering why it didn't come like that in the first place

I'm loving unicorn bottles at the moment, so much easier when out and about.... And I imagine you can fit several, side by side, for the price of a large letter stamp....

Checked out the unicorn bottles and it's definitely a possibility.

Thoughts anyone?

Super prefer plastic bottles myself , glass looks nicer sat on a shelf or with a posh label for everything else they're a total pain .

gerry are you sure the juice would squeeze out of the nib of a plastic bottle without popping the cap out...it's pretty thick.
