Never come across one bf'd buddy, think youll have to do it yourself

I've done a twisted messes by pulling the post and putting a slot in the insulator works just fine.

Can anyone else assist with this at all?

I had a look at mine I assume he meant snip one side of the 510 pin insulator at about the same size as the slot that is in the 510 pin, which, theoretically, would route juice flow up the side of the pin into the atty.

Not sure what kind of leakage you might get with this method and I'm reluctant to butcher the insulator lest it fecks the atty in general.

I guess the only other way to is to measure the centre pin thread size with vernier calipers and see if anyone is able to confirm if their purpose made bottom feed pin matches.

The following information is tenuous at best as I'm working with clones and a pretty rough and ready non digital set of cheap calipers - my velocity pin does not fit. The twisted messes style pin is 9mm long, the outer thread reads 2mm (m2?) and the inner thread is a gnats cock smaller and not measurable by the calipers I have.

I reckon you could fit a pin maybe as long as 14/15mm in the messes.

If anyone would care to contribute the size of their bottom feed pin here, there's at least a couple of apes here that would appreciate the info :)

Sorry for not getting back been a chap week I've broke the pins and plate holding my big toe joint together so I'm currently awaiting another operation.Any way basically you would unscrew the pin from the centre post ,pull the centre post out I used a little Alan key and tapped it out from the bottom. Then you can pop the insulator out I basically just cut a slot in the insulator ring 'do both rings big one and the little one .I used a cutting disk on a dremmel but I've done them with a hacksaw before.any attached with a removable insulator and centre post can be done this way.not noticed any leaking from attending bottom. Also the rough 22mm atty Base which comes with a squonk pin as standard fits the twisted messes top perfectly I'm running mine on the rough Base just now .if anyone wants my messes Base there welcome to it .pm me your address I'll chuck it in post for free.gd luck Sammy.it's the rouge rda not the rough bloody spell check.

Nice one matey great tip about the rouge RDA I'll get a clone one off FT.

Sorry to hear you've twatted your trotter, good luck with the recovery pal

@paulbee why don't you take first dibs on the doctored base @Sammy offers and maybe you could post some pics up of the handiwork?
