If you want something different how about an arduino build?

I have got one on order, no idea how to use it but it looks fun!

If you find a "put this bit here, that bit here and wire that to there" type instructions, I fancy the arduino build too. :D

I have a Raptor(given to me by a member on this awesome forum)and am just waiting for the last few bits n bobs arriving from China to build the 20A box mod. Biggest hassle has been locating an enclosure to house it though as I bought a different lipo cell and it is a fucking awkward size. I got so pissed off at searching, that I started sawing up some Brazilian Mahogany I'd kept until I thought up a use for it. :D

I have had the same fun with the LiPo's, some are a real awkward size. I bit the bullet and ordered a stack of different ones from hobbyking to try them out for size which has saved me a lot of time and hassle but £150 spent on batteries is an expensive way of doing it.
My favourites are the tiny turnigy 750 nano tech ones (now have 30 of those kicking around!) as they are easy to stack and configure to something that works! Particularly like running 4 in parallel. I also have one of the hard pack turnigy 5000 nano tech 1s packs which looks like it will build into a 1590g nicely and with hopefully enough room for the raptor, my orange 1590 box is getting it's guts removed soon as the 18650's just don't cut it next to LiPo's.

I use the 1000 mah lipo cells in parallel which gives me all the power I require for any trips out however long I may be away. I then got 2200 mah lipo's which are being a royal pita to locate enclosures for. I was expecting to be able to trim a little off the connection tabs and fit them in my metal enclosures, but if I did this then there wouldn't be enough room left for even 14 awg wires.
