Hi my battery connector at the bottom has broke and I can’t affort a new mod at the moment, I was wondering if I could use a spring to get the battery to touch the connector but I wasn’t sure, I didn’t want my ecig to blow up lol, I don’t wanna mess with things and something bad happen. So could I use a spring?

I don't know enough to advise. But when you use an 18650 in 20700 mod you use an adapter which basically just extends the length of the battery. So in theory I don't see why not. But we have some members who build mods and can give better advice than me. @vapesmarter @joe clay @ed87

A magnet might work. Issue would be enough pressure to keep a connection.

The connector has broken for 2 reasons the in out of the battery and the amount of power these small batteries put out

You need to replace the connector to be honest yes you could spacer it but let me put it to you like this

“The earth pin on the plug has broken off on your coffee machine you can plug it in though by pushing the safety tab down in the wall socket with a screwdriver no problem just flick it down and push the plug in but let’s hope the earth isn’t live or you don’t miss .....as it will go boom “

Same principal with a mod you could fix it but will it be 100% safe

Battery safety if it’s not safe don’t use it

If you can get the sled disassembled enough to get the tab clear of any plastic, then you might have some joy soldering a keystone tab to the existing tab. Lots of flux, so you get a complete layer between the two tabs.

I'm thinking of this type. I'd cut/break the rear half loop off the back first, so you get a flat surface to mate with the flat of your existing stub
