The battery clip has broken on my Joyetech cuboid - can anyone help?

Have you contacted the vendor you purchased it from? They may be able to help, or Joyetech UK. Could be as simple as a warranty replacement.

Unfortunately, i doubt it's fixable DIY, as that bit is part of the metal body. Tape it is i'm afraid.

Had it since Feb and cannot find the receipt, retailer could not help Joyetech uk offered nothing and nor did Joyetech China - sellotape it is.

Could you not try and fix some velcro to the inside, or some small self adhesive magnets.

That bit is under a fair bit of strain, I would doubt that tape (gaffer or otherwise) or magnets will be satisfactory. Before you contaminate the metal, do you know a TIG welder? If the circuit was pulled out, that would tig up no prob.

I have the exact same issue, one small drop on the corner of the bottom and it's toast. First and only drop, have had it three months. Have you found a solid solution yet? I'm hoping to be able to solder a tab on to it, but I am doubtful it will hold.

Hi , sorry to hear about the broken battery clip on your cuboids. I have a couple of the stainless ones so will keep an eye on them and try not to drop them as find they are a great mod for the price, especially with the updates. Just a thought though, maybe you might find a user on here or elsewhere with a broken mod with a different issue such as broken 510 or worse !!. might be worth looking out for a broken mod and then change out the internals so that you can get one with an unbroken latch.......... is there a wanted section on POTV anyone ?.... just a thought and maybe a good idea for peeps who are looking for a damaged mod or tank or whatever for parts to "rescue" with bits they have that are working if you get what i mean.
Hope this makes sense and you get what i mean.

As much as I love the cuboid, it is not without its faults.

My Cuboid still functions, but my fiancées has had issues, from the device not turning on, which I fixed by putting a small bit of plastic under the battery connections on the base, now it has the atomiser short error and will not work with any tank or RDA.

The clip on hers is also loose, and seems like an area the mod could fail on easily. I don't know of a way you could fix this unfortunately, so it may be time for a new mod .
