Hi guys,

Looking for advice (As like many!)

I had been using Jac Vapour S22 and S18 - Had no problems for a while however recently I have had loads of problems with their coils. Either giving me a burn taste instantly after changing (Primed coil properly, as I always have), or them hardly lasting over a day without burning out.

So I decided to take the jump and go for an Innokin T22 Pro.

First experience, fantastic. So much more vape, so much more flavour. I was really impressed. However, after a few days i noticed it was gurgling more and more, and then started spitting hot liquid onto my tongue, causing me to have ulcers on my tongue (I get uncers very easily due to a medical condition).
When I came to change the coil, I also noticed it was flooding into the battery (Where the tank screws into).
Cleaned it up, filled it up - Same problem.

Bought some new coils and I've not noticed the battery flooding as of yet but it's still gurgling and spitting :(

Am I doing something wrong? I've tried "pulling" with less force, with more force - Still the same.

Continuously having to "flick it" to clear the juice. And I'm doing that every 5-10 drags which is frustrating.

Close to binning it.

Hi @The_Owl87 and welcome to the planet.

wow! not used the S22 in years but a great little mod. i believe they did change the coils or offer a newer version but ive never tried them as ive still got a couple of the original boxes i use in the VIM when im driving (which has not been much in lat two years).

while you wait for others to advise on the T22, which coils are you using and what juice make and ratio of vg/pg is it.

The new coils for the S22 are the "Mesh" ones, which I had been using.

Was much better than the original, but not sure what's gone wrong but last few batches have all been terrible :(

I'm using the T18e 1.7 OHM coils in the T18E tank.

I have tried miltiple liquids. Mainly al 50/50

Dinner Lady, Vampire Vape, V4 and even the cheap 88Vape.

not sure if hes been on in almost 2 years but taggin the guv who brought the trial versions of the S22 and VIM to the forum.
he may be able to advise @JAC Vapour

I've never used that kit but 50/50 juice will be fine in it. If you haven't googling 'vape spitback' is a good place to start.

Shouldn't be an issue at the moment as it's winter and bleeding freezing but best ask.

Where are you keeping the mod when not in use? It sounds like the liquid is too thin but 50/50 should be fine.

As liquid gets warm, it gets thinner. I've left devices in the car before on hot days and they've just leaked everywhere.

Sometimes it can be something as simple as the coil flooding as it's not getting enough power through it.

I have tried all the tips from google/youtube but still constantly having to "flick" away the excess liquid.
The new coil started flooring into the battery again too last night :(
I have tried all the different watt the unit can do - I'm literally lost as to what else I can do.

I keep it either in my coat pocket or on a table. Occasionally in my jean pocket - Which I will refrain from doing now as this could generate some heat to thin the liquid.

If you haven't had it long perhaps get in touch with who you bought it from or maybe contact @Innokin. Failing that I'd be inclined to cut your losses and try something else.

Hey there,

I am sorry to hear the issues you're having with your T22 Pro.

Please check and ensure the coil is slotted correctly in the base of the tank as if it's not properly inserted it creates a pressure issue in the tank which causes flooding and leakage.
If that still does not help, please DM me or contact us at [email protected] for further assistance.

Sorry for the inconvenience!
