Tots, did you get the rubber seal ring with it? I didn't, and the o ring seems to be welded to the glass of the one I was replacing!

you could put some transparent adhesive plastic on the glass to give it some protection, I've been meaning to do this on my brothers tank but haven't got round to it yet.
