Buying Batteries from a high street shop

Is it possible to buy 18490 batteries from a high street shop? Or am I confined to buying batteries online?

I checked Argos, B&Q, PC World etc but no luck and then thought i'd give the local modelling shop a go as i'm sure there must be other uses for these batteries. So yeah, if there are other uses, what kind of shop would it be worth me checking?

maplin sometimes have torches...the better ones..that come with batteries (18xxx)...and then they have chargers for those torches and so on...so it may be possible although to date I havent been able to find anything.

You can find our batteries in
1) big torches
2) laptop cells
3) Tesla Model S, however I wouldnt recommend carjacking

To be fair to the high street, I was pretty oblivious to these sizes until I became a vaper.

Apart from Maplins as already said, I've only ever found battery packs in the model shops, and airsoft armories.

Why anyone ever buys batteries from ebay or whatever I really don't know.....Look up torchy he does two for the price of one.....has a thread on ukv and has done me proud in the past....good quality and good prices (discounts for ukv members ) usually throws in a free battery box on your first order, at least he did with me....

He throws in a free box on every order I think, I've had 2 orders off him and got 2 boxes
