Can the Vandy Vape Pulse 80w hold a 21700 battery?

So, I've been looking at the Vandy Vape Pulse BF 80w mod and watched some reviews and I'm pretty much sold. One reviewer said that it's a 20700 battery mod but it should have been made a 21700 mod as it would have only needed a few mm shaved off inside. So, is there any reason for me not to do this? Such as health and safety reasons perhaps? Or would the battery even work with the chip? (Not sure if it matters so that's why I'm asking). I saw a comment on the video with someone saying that somebody had done this, but it's the YouTube comment section so I can't really trust it. Thanks for any responses and apologies if I'm being dumb.

It's regulated and capped at 80w. Not really gonna make any noticable difference using a 21700 vs a 20700. Yes, you could use a 40T if it took 21700 but for the money you might as well buy two of these and have a spare to hand... https://www.fogstar.co.uk/collections/batteries/products/inr20700s
