Changing a 70vg/30pg liquid to 60/40, downsides?

Hi apes!

Today I've tasted a liquid that had my mind blown in terms of complexity and butteriness.
(Cinema reserve by Clouds of Icarus)

I've tried it in a pretty basic stock coil DL-tank (melo 3) from a friend however i prefer MTL.

With a 72mg 100pg nicotine addition i could turn a the shortfill into a near 60vg/40pg liquid for my nautilus GT.

Would it completely f*ck the flavor or are there other reasons not to do it, except for it seeming to be an utter coilkiller?

I do this regularly and it's always worked out fine for me. PG is the flavour carrier in vape liquid so you might actually find it tastes better. Give it a shot and see what happens is my advice.

It definitely won't taste weird mate, it may taste slightly different but that would happen between different DL setups anyway. If it's a superb liquid it will be superb as an MTL liquid as well in my experience. About 50% of my go to MTL liquids are using this method.
@John R gives sound advice, mix a 10ml sample and see how it turns out.

Thanks @John R and @ForestMagpie, will sample first! If it doesn't work out as expected I'll get a DL rta aswell. Might not prefer the DL method but the flavor intensity was a lot higher than on my nauti GT (but that could be solely because of the juice).

I've been adding PG nic to shortfills for a couple of years now. It definitely works well for MTL and enabled me to try out all those tempting juices that were out of reach before.

I think I am going to have to do this..... I’ve wasted so much by just nic’ing up 50ml shortfills and finding out I don’t get on them for whatever reasons....... So if I were to make up a 10ml sample what ratios would I be looking at???? My nic is 100pg and I usually make it up to 12mg

1.67ml of nic and 8.33ml of the shortfill should do the trick I think.

Not enough info there bud, the whole point is to try it, only you know if it'll work for you.
