Been charging this 26650 IRM on the nitecore i4 going on 5 hours now and 3 level light bar/charge display is still at FIRST light bar? I took battery out and put it in VV mod and it showed battery power as 4.1 volts!!! So it is charging but is this nitecore yet another dud???? got it back in the charger now. THanks...

What's the mAh on the 26650? I'd imagine it's fairly hefty so would probably take a while to charge.

Not got one of those Ehuge mods have you?

the charging time on these should be between 4-5 hours so id leave it about 6 hours and see if it goes full

I have similar issues with a different make of charger when I attach a large capacity battery to it.The charger is supposed to turn itself off once the battery is fully charged, yet despite being left for about 11 hours, the charge light remained on.The battery tested as fully charged on a multimeter & the Vamo, and performed the same as a similar battery charged on its correct charger(approx 6-7 hours)but unfortunately, failed during its next charge(wouldn't accept any charging, and didn't hold enough charge to work on the Vamo)so was disposed of(no biggie as was an ex-laptop battery)

I am no expert on such things, but I guess the internal electronics of the charger was "confused" by the larger capacity and tried to get it to produce the same reading to its electronics as the lower MaH battery.

Yes Chegs I'm finding the same thing with my nitecore chargers they both get "confused" when I charge 18650 batteries, then 18350 batteries, then 26650 batteries either all together in the nitecore, or even one at a time, the nitecore doesn't register when they charged, also often takes much longer than it should to charge, and sometimes doesn't charge fully. Funnily enough even my MVP doesn't show when it is fully charged either as light stays on well after 5 hours when light should go out after 4. Can be a bit of a worry as you don't want to undercharge or over charge?
