Does Clapton coils need more wattage?
I have installed one but the thing is the drip tip becomes hot and sometimes it burn my lips.

My mod shows 0.84ohm and I am running it on 40w. If I reduce the wattage it takes time before the coil gets warm and vapes.

Wattage is about right but it can also depend on juice and personal preference. Check how you hold the drip tip sometimes it gets hot if I got it at a slightly weird angle but I can vape afterwords no problem after correcting how I’m holding my device slightly.
