How does buying/selling used vape gear on the forums work? Like are payments done through paypal and what do you do if someone doesn't send an item ect?

Yes, on POTV all purchases must be done by PayPal goods and services. If an item is not sent, they can claim there money back through PayPal. POTV allows buying, selling and trading, but are not involved in any transactions.

There is a minimum post count of 100 before someone is able to get access to the classifieds. This has stopped people dropping by at POTV just to make a quick buck, and means it's kind of like a bonus for contributing members of our community. It means people get to know who they are potentially dealing with, and since the 100post rule came in, we have had very close to zero problems with anything in the classifieds.

Got a clone DDP One on the way to test out mesh with, but Ill give that one a go if its too much of a pain to set up

Its difficult to find more obscure items because most of the vape shops seem to stock much the same stuff. Maybe there is an opening for someone to sell vintage and classic vape related items like vintage clothes shops. We have to rely on forums like this one.

Have to agree, hence my name, in the pre-internet days they used to call me "Bargain Pages Tom" after the local classified paper we all used for buying (and selling)on the cheap

Word to the wise, it's frowned upon to rake the ashes of long dead threads, far better to start a new thread on old topics than reawakening years dead ones. Don't be surprised if an admin locks this, but that's the reason why.
