I mailed this company that sells flavour concentrates at a low price to ask for some info about there flavours. They'd already answered a previous ebay message about diacetyl, and stated that none of their flavours contain it.

I asked what their carrier base was and what percentage they recommended to mix with base liquid. Here's what they sent back.

Hello there,

Our concentrated flavours are all food safe.

They are very concentrated and every person has their own individual taste and smell perception, what is one man’s caramel is another’s vanilla so we cannot advise on strength or taste. You would need to test to see what you like, add a little at a time and allow for steeping into what you add it too.

A little goes a long way, they are much more concentrated that other flavours so great value for money and far less needed in anything you wish to add it too.

Here is a list of the flavours with carriers as of today’s date:

We are currently in the process of bringing out a range especially for vaping as food flavours are originally made for cooking and baking, as I say 100% edible but not tested or approved for vaping

We cannot endorse the use for vaping as we are not medically trained to do so. I would always recommend seeing your GP if in doubt and our full terms and conditions which can be found on our website.

There is no return on food items of course, so small bottles available to test and then you can repeat buy. We get amazing repeat buyers for our wonderful flavours.

As the list changes and we add and remove items daily please check before every purchase, until the listing for vaping flavours is added which will make your life so much easier.

All the very best

Tony

I've ordered a couple of flavours to give it a test. Will let you know what its like once it arrives.

This is a long established company, much used by vapers. Their VG and PG are exceptional value but their flavourings are a bit lacking in my opinion.

Most ejuice flavourings have evolved from food flavourings, which need a bit of tweaking to optimise them for vaping.

I wrote this because i hadnt seen them mentioned on this forum before.
I decided to ask my own questions to them about their flavourings, as i've used them before for cake decorating supplies.
If they can do 100ml of concentrate for £8 and it tastes ok without using too much, then they'll get my business.
In my opinion a lot of companies charge way too much for 10ml of concentrate.

I apologise. I saw a previous thread where someone had asked for further details on the content info of flavours. I thought the reply would be helpful to anyone that wondered about them.

They are your lungs and you're free to do as you wish. :)
Is price the main or the only consideration for you?
Companies like Inawera, Flavour Art, Capella etc have invested a lot of time and money into converting food flavourings into vape-safe products, identifying the hazards, researching and adapting them for this new use. I imagine the investment is considerable and ongoing.
You prefer to buy from a company that is playing catch up and still selling untested products, unapproved for vaping. Do you think they'll charge more when they have an "approved for vaping" range? And if they do, will you continue to buy the unapproved, food-safe versions because they're cheaper?
What if they determined that several of these flavours are not actually safe to vape ... would you ignore that and buy them regardless?
