Clearomiser issues

Been using a Riva 1100 for a week (I got the kit) and it's working great with cartomisers but I'm having trouble with the clearomiser.
The kit comes with the Vision Ego Standard Resistance Clearomiser and I'd really like to use it because of ease of filling but I just don't get the same draw as I do with a cartomiser, I get quite a bit less vapour, it's just not as satisfying as the carto.
Is there a knack to using them or are they just not as good?

You see i am the other way round, brand new to vaping but, i prefer the clearo to the cartomiser.

I am using a vgo2 for the cartomiser and one with a 510 adapter for the clearo and much prefer it, as for tips i haven't any myself yet but, i am sure there could be some which i will take note of myself. Unless of course it really is down to self preference.

Anyway i hope you are enjoying vaping as much as i am.
