Hi all,
DISCLAIMER - I am not associated with the above mentioned and views stated are my own not influenced by anyone.
For the past few weeks we have been treated to something special right here in Wrexham, North Wales. A new vaping shop has opened up and it truly is a welcomed thing!
A little background to the town... We do already have vaping shops in the town, two to be precise. These two consist of what I like to call a pop up shop and another which is further up the food chain, so to speak. The problem with the aforementioned is that they are either cheap juices or overpriced mods/atties.
Cloudchasers on first impressions seemed to be very promising. Nice sized plot, good selection of mods ranging from mechs to higher priced boxes (sig 150 as an example). The guy behind the counter, great chap and always willing to go the extra mile to help a customer out.
Pricing - As far as I can tell, their pricing is pretty reasonable! From what the folk of Wrexham are used to they are definitely a massive improvement on price. Prebuilt coils ranging from £2.50 - £4 (sub ohm coils), tanks ranging from £4 (Ce4) - £40 (Arctics, Delta 2, Subtanks, Atlantis. These not necessarily priced at £40 but towards the top end of the price bracket) and mods ranging from blisters - Sig 150w. The pricing on the juice varies as it does in most vaping shops. They have a cheap range that they are in the process of getting rid of (£2.50 a bottle/5 for £10), an in-house range (£3.50 a bottle/3 for £10), Castle Vapes 20ml bottles (dripping range, £10 a bottle), Britannia e-liquids 30ml bottles (dripping range, £12 a bottle) & Mr Bowmans (Connoisseurs range, £12 a bottle).
Selection - As already mentioned they appear to cater for all walks of vaping. From the beginner using a blister kit to the more advanced user using a VV/VW. They really do have a good selection and the advice provided is brilliant and very refreshing. They also have a good range of drippers at reasonable B&M pricing (around £15 - £25 depending on which dripper). They also stock fibre freaks cotton and are in the process of stocking a different selection of wires. As previously mentioned they also hold a vast selection of juice).
Juice - I personally, am not a fan of 50/50 juices but that's mainly because I only tend to drip and have my sweet spot at 70/30 VG/PG. The juices are their own in-house range and I have tasted a few and can say for tanking purposes they are very tasty (They have a flavour called 'Pink Pig' that my partner & I really do enjoy!). They do have a dripping range from Britannia e-liquids which is I believe 90VG and Castle Vapes which are both very tasty. They then have a connoisseurs range 'Mr Bowmans' which is another of the Britannia e-liquids brands which is a truly nice vape, unfortunately, they only go as low as 6mg which is no good for somebody like myself at 3mg and as many of you will know that extra 3mg does indeed make the difference!
So, conclusion, Cloudchasers truly is a welcomed shop in the town and the previous shops do need to be worried as I can see this shop outlasting any in the area due to the service and quality that they provide. I have solely been using this shop since it opened as it provides a much more welcoming atmosphere when making my vape purchases and provides a better place for me to get my hands on easy access juice without compromising on quality. Anybody in the local area, I would be more than happy to recommend them to you as you WON'T find a better experience for miles.
Thanks for reading and I hope it helps anybody local in deciding whether to visit the shop!
Dan
