If you told us what tank it is, we might be able to help.

It is the smok tfv12 prince tank.
Sounds like the supplied drip tip is a bit off and not exactly the right fit. Do you know if there is a wee O-ring in the hole for the Dt or is it friction fit?
You got a pair of pliers? Either grab the drip tip and pull, or close the pliers and pop them into the hole, then expand the jaws and haul like your pulling a Jack Russell out a rabbit hole.

Then go find a better fitting drip tip.

Pop it in the freezer for about 5 mins then try again.

Rubber gloves or rubber bands wound around the parts help with getting a good grip.

As noted above, cooling/heating to contract/expand the metal can loosen things. To prevent it happening again, when you screw your tank onto your mod, hold the bottom of the tank, not the top. Screwing the tank on from the top and then overtightening once it's on the mod will result in you tightening the chimney onto the coilhead, which is what it sounds like is happening.

Will have to remember these, hubby has a amok stick baby and his tank is always getting stuck. Always using pliers to get it open. Thanks guys, and thanks for starting this post!
