Can anyone help me please... I’ve got an Innokin Oceanus vape with Aspire Cleito tank/coils and using Boulevard juice and I’m literally changing the coil like every two days?? The coil is rated 40-60W and I’m only using 42W. Any help as to why this is happening would be greatly appreciated

Maybe the juice cart take the heat or you have counterfeit coils..

hi and welcome to the planet.

are you priming the coils first by dripping juice on all the cotton. then starting at a low wattage like 20watts and turning up a few watt every couple of puffs.
going straight in at 42w will burn them out quick.
also its 80vg which will struggle with quite a lot of coils. if you are adding nic shot which usually are 100% VG then it will make it even thicker.

Yeah I am priming then, I’m not starting at a low wattage though so that may well be the problem. Yeah I am adding a nic shot as I haven’t long since given up the fags. Thanks for your help

your welcome. i stay clear of the 100vg shots now. i buy a box of 20 bottles of 50/50 which i find works perfectly with all the shortfills i get through.
if you want some you can find them at the bottom of post 6 here POTV Vendors & Recommended E Liquid Suppliers

and congratz on kicking the cancer sticks.

hi buddy good advice above , prime them and run them up gradually. Why are you changing them are they tasting burnt?
could be the coils are clogged with juice i run at near to max wattage but perhaps im wrong.
I had the same issue with a nautilus tank i mouth to lung used to go through coils quick they tasted off after a few days like burnt in the back ground i upped the wattage and cured the issue i get a good two weeks out of my aspire coils now no problem wasnt the coils were burnt i wasnt running hot enough and they were gunking try running nearer the max wattage or at least higher?
might help

Welcome mate.
I used to have that tank and found the coils to be the most inconsistent garbage on the planet. Often I'd get coils last just 1 day. Dying in 2 to 3 can be common with them even when you do everything right. Cut you're loss and get a better tank and coils that last and are worth the money. Cleito coils are notorious for inconsistent qaulity.

Aspire coils do seem to be problematic with some tanks. I don't have the Cleito myself, but own several from the Nautilus range. I've had problems with the 1.8 BVC coils lately. That is until this week...when reducing the wattage before firing a freshly installed and fully primed coil, has had an positve effect. Before, i was only getting 3-4 days, if that...sometimes less....but my last coil had managed 11 days, just by reduced the wattage down to 6 watts initially..then gradually bringing it up to 8 watts, which is where i like it at. It works!

Anyhoo, welcome to the planet Danh89! :)

I remember when the first Uwell Crown came out and people were claiming to get 2 weeks out of the coils. Gawd knows how as I'd get through 4 a week. A lot depends on the juice you are using also and how much juice you're putting through them. Personally I couldn't go back to plug and play coils and would always recommend using an rda or rta. It's not hard and you can even get coils in packs that are ready to pop in and you just put your cotton in. Eazy peazy and save a fortune. £20 on coils and cotton can last me for like 2 years and trust me I chain vape.
