Coils not reconized by vt inbox

Soooo...

I'm assuming it's my shoddy coil making with rubbish wire but why would the ohms jump up from 1.8 (got carried away.. ) to 2.2 and then down to 0 in a couple of hours?

Coil was only made yesterday... I'm using 26awg Kanthal A1 (apparently...) and 3mm coil... Using the Ammit MTL RDA on the Hcigar VT inbox...

It happened before on my old mod but then that completely died not long after...

Any ideas?? Thanks!

The obvious one would be that you haven’t tightened the coil screws enough, or that your coil is too loose, so check them first.
Is it possible that your squonk pin is a little loose?
You may have to titivate the pin in the 510 connector on the Inbox a bit.

To be honest, it could be any or all of those or something else.

LOL... I tightened the coil screws and hey presto!!

No worries, any idiot could have pointed out the obvious, but this idiot got there first

This idiot just remembered I used my ceramic tweezers to screw the coil in.. Explains a lot really!

I think this advice (tighten your coils and check for shorts) is fantastic. It may seem a simple thing to remember, but after a while we ALL get a little slipshod and would do well to remember that when New Vapers are asking what seem like the same question as was asked last week/yesterday.
A simple response is often the best response!
